The Honourable Allen Linden is a retired Judge of the Federal court of appeal, having served 32 years in the Canadian Judiciary. Prior to that, after earning his Master of Laws and Doctor of Laws degrees at the University of California at Berkeley studying torts with his mentors William Prosser and John Fleming, he taught torts at the Osgoode Hall Law School for almost two decades. He is the author of Canada’s first treatise on torts Canadian Tort Law (8th ed. 2006, with B. Feldthusen) and the first casebook on torts Canadian Tort Law: Cases Notes and Materials (2009, with L. Klar and B. Feldthusen).
