Anne Crawford has practised law in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories for 25 years, with experience as a Land Claims Negotiator, counsel at First Ministers' Conferences, NWT Conflict of Interest Commissioner, Director of Child Welfare, Cabinet Secretary, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services, President of the Qulliq Energy Corporation, Bingo Commissioner, and Local School Authority Chair and Member. Her current occupations include Northern Director of the Akitsiraq Law School, Vice-Chair of APTN, and civil practitioner in Iqaluit, Nunavut, mother, activist and writer. She lives in Apex, outside the Nunavut capital, with one spouse, two puppies, and three teenagers, making excellent pizzas on Fridays.
