Blair Crew currently serves as Review Counsel for the Criminal Division at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic and teaches Criminal Law and Procedure and Sexual Assault Law. 

Since 2000, Blair has been an associate with the Ottawa law firm Greenspon, Brown and Associates, where his practice focuses on criminal and civil litigation and appellate advocacy.  In this capacity, Blair has acted for agencies and public interest organizations including the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and has represented clients before all levels of court including the Supreme Court of Canada. 

Blair joined the Faculty as a Replacement Professor in the fall of 2002.  He has previously taught Evidence, Contracts, and Appellate Advocacy, and has coached the Faculty of Common Law’s Arnup Cup and Ontario Trial Lawyers' Association Cup teams.  Prior to joining the Faculty on a full-time basis, Blair was twice selected as the Part-time Professor of the Year. 

Blair’s research interests include the application of constitutional limitations to private security providers, and issues relating to the representation of sexual assault survivors in the criminal justice process.
