Information: Mr. Goldstein received his B.A. (Hons.) in Anthropology with a minor in Political Science from Montreal’s Concordia University in 1993.  He received his LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1996. In 1998, Mr. Goldstein became a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada as well as the New York State bar.  In 1999, he joined the law firm of Pinkofsky Lockyer (now Pinkofskys) as an associate in the newly formed Ottawa Office.  As of January 2004, Mr. Goldstein has been a partner at Webber Schroeder Goldstein Abergel.  His practice is restricted to criminal defence litigation.  

Mr. Goldstein has remained active in continuing legal education and in the associations relevant to his field including the CLS at the University of Western Ontario, the CJLA (past-president) the CCLA, the DCAO, CBAO and the New York Bar Association.

Mr. Goldstein has presented briefs and testified before the House of Commons and the Senate as well as having published several articles on the topic of Dangerous Offender litigation.  He taught the Professional Responsibility and Skills component of the Law Society of Upper Canada’s licensing process as well as writing questions for the Barrister’s Exam.  Mr. Goldstein has also coached the Arnup Cup team from the University of Ottawa.
 
Mr. Goldstein provides service to his clients in both of Canada’s official languages.
