About uOttawa's Oral Advocacy Mooting Program
Our unique approach to training students to be top advocates blends cutting edge technology with old fashioned hard work. Our program teaches students to think critically about contemporary legal issues from an academic and pragmatic perspective. We focus on training our students on how best to present arguments coherently, in both written and oral form. We equip our students with the tools they will need to work successfully as part of a team as well as taking leadership roles within these teams. Our philosophy is that it is best to lead by example and our recent successes on both the national and the international stage confirms our program's philosophy.
