How to apply
Candidates from uOttawa: Students who are currently at uOttawa or who have previously completed their LL.L. at uOttawa can obtain the application form at: http://www.admission.uottawa.ca/Default.aspx?tabid=2589. Print the A2 application form and drop it off at the Admissions office of the Common Law Section with the other required documents by May 1st. Late applications can be submitted with the Faculty's permission. There is no application fee for persons registered at the University of Ottawa in the last two years. All others must pay the required application fees of $65.
Candidates from other Canadian civil law schools: Civil Law students from other Canadian universities must apply through OLSAS at: www.ouac.on.ca/olsas/. The application deadline is May 1st. Late applications can be submitted with the Faculty’s permission.
Required documents: uOttawa applicants must provide two letters of recommendation from LL.L. professors, a personal statement as well as an up-to-date curriculum vitae along with the A2 application form. Non-uOttawa applicants must follow OLSAS instructions and provide two letters of recommendation from LL.L. professors, official transcripts, a personal statement and an up-to-date curriculum vitae.
