Legal Links and Bridges
Mentor Program: Legal Links & Bridges
The Faculty of Law is proud to offer our students one of the most developed mentoring programs in the country. Legal Links & Bridges provides students the opportunity to interact with members of the legal community through mentoring. The success and growth of Legal Links & Bridges has been tremendous. Since beginning in 1997, hundreds of participants have helped make this experience worthwhile for both lawyers and students. We view mentoring as a process that allows both the mentor and mentee to grow and develop. Students are afforded the opportunity to connect with lawyers and members of the legal profession in formal and informal environments and to learn from the valuable experience that their mentor can provide. Mentors are able to share their knowledge and expertise with students and provide guidance to them while he or she enhances their personal and professional development. Those who have participated in the past have described it as extremely rewarding.
If you are a first year student and are interested in participating in this program for the 2011-2012 academic year, please complete the application form and submit in person a hard copy of the form along with your CV to Student Services (FTX 233) before 4:00 pm on Wednesday, September 14th 2011.
