Ton Zuijdwijk
Ton Zuijdwijk, LL.B. (Toronto), LL.M. (Leiden, Netherlands), LL.M. (Columbia), M.I.A. (Columbia), S.J.D. (Toronto), of the Bar of Ontario
Ton Zuijdwijk is a part-time Professor of European Union Law.
His day-to-day law practice is in international trade law, as a General Counsel in the Trade Law Bureau, which is a unit established by the Department of Justice and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
Before joining the Department of Justice, Ton Zuijdwijk taught law at the University of Leiden (Netherlands) and at McGill University. He also served in the Legal Office of the United Nations (Trade Law Branch) in New York and the Transfer of Technology Division of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Geneva.
