Haig Basmajian (’99) Appointed to Immigration and Refugee Board
Haig Basmajian (’99) was appointed to the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) for a three-year term in the Montreal office.Mr. Basmajian’s appointment was one of 10 full-time appointments and one full-time reappointment made by Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney on August 7, 2009.
Most recently, Mr. Basmajian worked as a Senior Contracts Manager at Bombardier Aerospace. Previously, he held positions as Senior Advisor for Artist Management and as Immigration and Occupational Health and Safety Advisor for Cirque du Soleil. Mr. Basmajian also held the position of Immigration Officer with Citizenship and Immigration Canada in Lacolle, Quebec.
